This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Unfold with Breath collects when you book a session, subscribe to updates, or use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep the information we collect to the minimum needed to hold sessions safely and to run the practice.

Information we collect
Booking information
When you reserve a place, we collect your name, your phone number, and any note you choose to add. Because bookings begin as a WhatsApp conversation, this usually starts with the phone number and name shown on your WhatsApp account. We ask for your email address so we can send you session details in writing.
Booking conversations on WhatsApp
Reserving a place opens a chat with us on WhatsApp. That conversation (the messages you send, the payment confirmation you share, and the link to your health and safety form) is carried by WhatsApp, which is part of Meta. WhatsApp messages are encrypted in transit, but the conversation is stored on your phone and on ours, and WhatsApp holds the associated account and delivery information under its own privacy policy.
If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can book and complete everything by email instead. Write to us at support@unfoldwithbreath.com and we will arrange it that way.
Payment information
We do not take payments on this website. There is no card form and no checkout here. When you reserve a place, we send you a UPI QR code on WhatsApp, and you pay directly from your own UPI app to the account shown in that code.
We never see or store your card details, bank details, or UPI login. What we do see is what a completed UPI transfer shows: the amount, the date and time, the transaction reference, and the name and UPI ID attached to the paying account. We keep that as the record that your place is paid for.
Sessions hosted with another facilitator
Some sessions are held together with another facilitator or host. Where that is the case, payment may go directly to that facilitator’s own account rather than to us: the QR code you receive is theirs. We will always tell you who is collecting the payment before you pay. Where they collect it, they and their bank or UPI provider hold that transaction record; we see only what we need in order to confirm your place.
Health and safety information
Breathwork is not suitable for everyone. After you reserve a place, we send you a short, confidential health and safety form, by WhatsApp or by email, whichever you are using with us. The information you share on it is used only to assess whether the session is safe and suitable for you, and to hold the space responsibly.
This health information is kept separate from your payment records and is never combined with them. It is not used for marketing and is not sold or shared for any commercial purpose. Where a session is co-hosted, the facilitator leading it with us may need to know anything that affects your safety in the room; we share only what is necessary for that, and nothing else.
Newsletter and updates
If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address to send occasional updates. Our email list is managed by Kit (ConvertKit). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Website usage information
Like most websites, our server keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and to keep the site working. These logs are separate from the analytics described below and are not used to build a profile of you.
How we keep payment and health data separate
We treat your payment information and your health information as two separate records. The payment record is a UPI transaction reference and the name on the paying account. Your health and safety form is collected separately and is read by Vishal. The two are never merged into a single profile, and your health form is never attached to a payment record or shared with anyone handling a payment. This separation is deliberate and central to how we handle your data.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the website, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. They fall into three groups.
Essential: needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
Analytics: used to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which counts visits and shows us which pages and which sources bring people here.
- Microsoft Clarity, which goes further than counting. It records how pages are used (scrolling, clicks, taps, and mouse movement) and can replay a recording of a visit or combine many visits into a heatmap. We use it to see where the site confuses people. Clarity masks text typed into form fields by default, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Advertising: used to measure our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site:
- Google Ads, including remarketing and conversion tracking.
- The Meta pixel, which measures our Facebook and Instagram advertising and lets us build audiences from site visitors.
Both of these can set cookies that identify your browser across other websites.
Your consent controls all of this
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you agree to them through the cookie banner shown on your first visit, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Until you choose, nothing beyond the essential cookies runs. You can accept some categories and refuse others.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: manage your cookie preferences. Withdrawing consent stops these tools running and clears the cookies they have set on this website.
Where analytics and advertising cookies are used with your consent, information about your device, browser, and activity on this site is shared with Google, Microsoft, and Meta as third parties for those purposes. Any cookies or records those providers hold on their own domains and systems are governed by their own privacy policies, and we cannot delete those for you. You can control them through your browser settings, through ad personalisation settings in your Google Account, through your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account, and through Microsoft’s privacy settings.
How we use your information
- To confirm and manage your booking, and to communicate with you about your session, usually on WhatsApp.
- To confirm your payment and, where applicable, arrange a refund.
- To assess suitability and hold the session safely, using the confidential health form.
- To send you updates you have subscribed to.
- To understand website usage and measure our advertising, where you have consented.
- To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the practice, and only as needed:
- Meta: WhatsApp, to carry booking conversations; and the Meta pixel for advertising measurement, where you have consented.
- Google: Analytics, Google Ads, and Tag Manager, for website analytics and advertising, where you have consented.
- Microsoft: Clarity, for website analytics, where you have consented.
- Kit (ConvertKit): to manage the email list, if you have subscribed.
- Our email provider: to send booking confirmations and session details.
- Zoom: for online sessions, to deliver the live session.
- A co-facilitator: where a session is co-hosted, as described above.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
International data transfers
Some of the service providers we use (including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Zoom, and Kit) process data on servers located outside India. When you book a session, subscribe, or use this website, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries. We only work with providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
How long we keep your information
We keep transaction records for as long as required to meet accounting and tax obligations. We keep your health and safety form only as long as needed to run the session safely, after which it is deleted. Booking conversations on WhatsApp are kept for as long as they are useful for your sessions, and you can ask us to delete a chat at any time. You can ask us to delete any information we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, and your consent to analytics and advertising cookies at any time through manage your cookie preferences. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. We limit access to what we hold and keep payment and health records separate. We do not handle card or bank details at all: payment is made directly from your own UPI app to the receiving account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we keep what we hold to the minimum we need.
Children
Our sessions and this website are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
